A Day in the Life of the Divine: Daily Rituals at the Jagannath Temple
The Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, is a marvel of architecture and a center of immense devotion. As the day comes to an end, the deities are offered Sandhya Dhupa, the evening meal. The Khatasejulagi ritual prepares them for slumber, and they are finally put to bed in the Pahuda ceremony.
